Job Summary
Delivers products to homeowners and businesses in the GTA. Transports products to and from various locations within southern Ontario.
Education and Experience
Valid AZ license with a clean abstract. Forklift license preferred.
Duties
To deliver products to our customers throughout the GTA using a tractor trailer with a truck-mounted forklift. Drivers are expected to perform daily maintenance on their equipment, including complete circle checks, filling out paperwork, replacing lights as needed and greasing equipment on a regular basis. They will also be required to maintain a clean and organized truck. Other duties may be assigned based on business demands, such as preparing bags of soil for customer orders. You must also be able to use digital technology to record deliveries completed, clock in and out, and report required maintenance to the mechanics.
Skills
The successful candidate must be able to read, write and speak English competently. The ability to effectively communicate with the office and customers over the phone is a requirement. They must also be able to effectively navigate all areas of the GTA. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
Pay Rate
$29 +/hour depending on skills/experience. Employee Benefits are available for full-time employees.
Work Schedule
Monday to Saturday (Saturdays are usually half days).
We are a seasonal business (April to December) which requires longer hours during our busy season April to June (12hrs/day).
Due to the nature of the business, a flexible work schedule is customary.
Job Start and End Dates
Mid-April (weather dependent) – December (possibly longer)
Specific requirements
CSA approved footwear is required as well has high visibility clothing that is appropriate for the weather; we work in all weather conditions. It is also necessary to have a cell phone to communicate with the office when issues and modified instructions arise.
Other
Drivers will start their shifts either at our main yard, located on Hwy. 48 just north of Major Mackenzie, or at one of our farms throughout the Zephyr, Pefferlaw or Beaverton areas depending on where sod is being harvested.

Job Summary
In a team-orientated environment, the Customer Service Rep builds customer relationships through assisting homeowners and businesses with orders and inquiries to achieve high customer satisfaction and retention, both over the phone and in-person. Simple math calculations. Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Additional languages, including Mandarin & Cantonese, are an asset. No previous customer service experience is required. University students are highly encouraged to apply. Training provided.
Duties
Answering customer questions, taking, and processing orders using both an online and POS system. Stocking in-store merchandise and maintaining the cleanliness of the office and storefront.
Skills
The successful candidate must be polite with a good work ethic. Come with a willingness to learn product details and procedures to effectively interact with and serve our client base. The candidate is able to work in a team setting providing friendly and professional service to homeowners, businesses, and colleagues. As well, the candidate will manage and perform daily tasks with attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy, in a fast-paced and busy environment. They will be trustworthy and able to handle money and perform simple math calculations. Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Additional languages, Mandarin & Cantonese are an asset.
Work Schedule
We are a Seasonal weather-driven business (April to December). During the season, Fairgreen Sod Farms is open Monday through Saturday with varying hours. Opportunity for multiple-season employment will be available for successful candidates

Job Summary
The Office Supervisor is responsible for the efficient daily operation of the office, including staff management, customer service, and financial and administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure a smooth and productive work environment.
Duties
- Oversee all daily office activities.
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in person.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Supervise office staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Train and coach new employees, supporting their professional development.
- Assist with administrative duties, including health and safety, human resources, and accounts receivable/payable.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers, maintaining positive relationships.
- Support and report directly to the General Manager and Farm Operations Manager.
- Process customer orders and handle various payment methods (cash, credit card, and account sales).
- Ensure high standards of customer service and serve as a role model.
- Coordinate with yard staff and assist with truck dispatching and delivery coordination.
- Other job-related tasks as required by management and business needs.
Skills
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive team relationships.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to lead by example.

- 5 days per week, including Saturdays.
- Days off: Sunday and one other day.
- Off-season hours (January to March) as determined by company needs.

Compensation and Benefits
