Grass Type

Our sod is 100% Kentucky Bluegrass. This grass has a lush, deep green colour that looks great in any landscape, making it an excellent choice for residential and commercial lawns. Kentucky Bluegrass is resistant to drought, disease, and pests, and its fine texture gives it a soft, comfortable feel underfoot.

We cut our sod to order the morning of the scheduled pickup or delivery to ensure that you receive the freshest and healthiest sod for your project’s success. We monitor our product carefully with strict quality assurance practices. Every roll meets our high standards, and you receive premium sod.

Roll Sizing

Our sod is cut precisely and rolled expertly with state-of-the-art tools and machinery. Get the amount needed for your project without worry of running short or wasting sod.
Our sod rolls measure 2 feet x 4.5 feet, each covering a 9-square-foot area. Each roll of sod weighs approximately 40 lbs or 18 kg.

IMPORTANT:

Sod MUST be installed within 6 HOURS of delivery.

Please plan your delivery date carefully to ensure immediate installation.

About Our Delivery Process

Ordering

If you would like to have your sod delivered, please place an order online or call us at +1 (647) 951-4504. Be sure to place your order dimensions in square feet. The minimum order required for delivery is 30 rolls or 270 square feet.

Time Frame

For next-business-day delivery, orders must be placed by 3 PM the day before. Orders placed after 3 PM will be scheduled for delivery in 2 business days. If needed, you can schedule your delivery further in advance.

Delivery Requirements

Your sod is cut on the morning of your delivery. Please ensure you have 9 feet of clearance for the delivery. Sod is perishable, so you must be available to accept the delivery. Upon arrival, the sod will need to be installed within 6 hours.

New Sod Care

Watering

Once your sod is laid, it needs to be watered immediately. It should be soaked to the point that you are unable to walk on it. You may use a lawn sprinkler or water by hand.

Mowing

Mow your new lawn for the first time when the cut will remove about one-third of the length. This typically occurs within 1-2 weeks after laying the sod. Ensure your grass is not wet when mowing.

Shade

Our sod is shade-tolerant but will require some form of light to survive. It is not recommended to lay sod in a permanently shaded area, as a complete lack of sun may cause it to die. It is suggested in shade areas to overseed with shade seed spring and fall is a recommended practice for your sod to thrive.
